01What is Taxonomy Matcher?
A SaaS tool that uses frontier LLMs to categorize your products against Google’s product taxonomy — or any custom tree you upload. Built for e-commerce teams who want feed-grade categorization without enterprise pricing.
02Who is this service for?
Online shops, marketplaces, and retailers who hand-categorize today. If you have between 100 and 100,000 SKUs and no dedicated data team, we’re built for you. If you have more, you probably want Channable or Productsup.

Usage & features
01What input format do you accept?
CSV, JSON, XML, or pasted text. We need at least a title; descriptions improve accuracy. The matcher auto-detects column shape and asks for a confirmation before running.
02Can I use my own taxonomy?
Yes. Upload a .txt with one category path per line, levels separated by " > " (e.g. "Apparel > Clothing > Pants"). You can save and reuse custom trees across runs.
03How accurate is the matching?
On standard benchmark data we hit ~95.4% top-1 accuracy against Google’s tree. Confidence scores ship with every row so you know which to auto-approve and which to review.
04Can I save custom taxonomies?
Yes — saved per account, reusable across sessions. Locale variants and brand-specific dialects are supported.
05What export formats are supported?
CSV, JSON, XML, and a REST API. All include confidence + reason fields. Drop straight into Merchant Center, Channable, ChannelAdvisor, or your PIM.

Pricing & credits
01How does pricing work?
14-day free trial with 100 credits. After the trial, €18/month with 500 credits included. Additional credits at €0.10 each, never expire.
02Do credits expire?
Monthly subscription credits reset each billing cycle and don’t roll over. Bought credits (the €0.10 ones) stay until used.
03Do I need a credit card to start?
Yes, but we don’t bill during the 14-day trial. Cancel anytime before day 14 and you’re never charged.
04What happens after the trial?
The €18/month subscription starts automatically with 500 fresh credits. Cancel anytime from your dashboard — you keep access until period-end.

Account & data
01Where is my data stored?
Account data lives in Google Firebase Firestore (EU region). Product titles you submit are sent to OpenAI and Gemini for processing under their data-processing agreements. Nothing is used for training.
02How can I download my match results?
Every run is downloadable as CSV / JSON / XML from your dashboard. The REST API exposes the same.
03Is my product data secure?
Encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We don’t share data with third parties beyond the necessary processors (OpenAI, Gemini, Firebase). Connector tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
04Can I delete my account and data?
Yes — email info@webpowers.org and we wipe your data within 30 days, including all match history and stored taxonomies.
