Best Practices for Custom Taxonomies
- Be Consistent: Use a consistent naming convention and hierarchy.
- Be Specific but Not Overly Granular: Aim for a level of detail that is useful for your business without creating an unmanageable number of categories.
- Review Regularly: As your product catalog changes, review and update your custom taxonomies to ensure they remain relevant and accurate.
- Use Descriptions: Add descriptions to your taxonomies to remember their purpose or scope, especially if you manage multiple versions.
By effectively managing your custom taxonomies, you can significantly improve the accuracy and relevance of your product categorization.
